My name is Kayla Ludwig and I am a licensed child care provider in Omaha, NE. I have lived in Nebraska all of my life. I am proud to offer quality childcare with a family environment. I have been providing child care for a decade and I enjoy every minute of it. I have worked in a center as a pre-toddler teacher and was then promoted to Assistant Director and I began not only working with every age from 6 weeks old to school age, but I also began working side by side with the parents/guardians. It was a very rewarding experience to run a facility that had approximately 100 families enrolled. This center was owned by Children’s Hospital and in 2001, the hospital decided to sell all of the daycare facilities. I then chose to continue teaching and caring for children by opening my own home child care.

I have been blessed with the opportunity to do what I love with a smaller group and find I really enjoy the benefits that a home child care provides.

My own children love to help with projects and games when they are not in school. My oldest daughter is 14, my son is 13 and my youngest daughter is 9. We have a golden retriever and cats that are perfectly patient and are always up-to-date on all of their shots.

I believe that child care is a partnership that holds the child’s best interest as top priority and I am excited to work with you to ensure that your child is safe, secure and happy.

A CHILD CARE PROVIDER

A willing partner for working moms,
She comforts, pampers, soothes and calms.
With all the love she has to share,
She’s great to have when Mommy can’t be there.

She loves to rock a fussy child,
Corrects the one who gets to wild.
She hears her share of tearful pleas,
And comforts those with skinned up knees.

With little children she plays games of peek,
For bigger ones it’s hide and seek.
She’s an expert at each game,
But somehow loses just the same.

She helps them learn the alphabet,
And gives them hugs when they’re upset.
She gently tucks them in their beds,
With dreamland tales for sleepyheads.

She is a true and trusted friend,
Who helps them learn and play pretend.
Although she’s paid, it’s plain to see,
She serves them with a love that’s free.
